Special Needs Access for ESP Software

Music can provide a great way of involving everyone in a class. However it can also be a very divisive activity as it can exclude those who do not play instruments or who cannot physically play an instrument.
Technology can provide a whole range of opportunities for everyone to contribute to music making and musical composition.
Our software is very easy to use and where possible we provide keyboard shortcuts which can be used with Overlay keyboards and on screen scanning devices.

Compose World Create

ESP have been working closely with the Drake Music Project over the last couple of years to develop greater access to our software.
This has resulted in the development of Compose World Create which has extensive support for Special Needs Access.
As well as all of the usual mouse controls, included in the program are:

Switch scanning of tool bars

On screen scanning menus

Full support for keyboard shortcuts to use with overlay keyboards and on screen scanning devices.

Speech output

Further Support

Coming soon are a number of downloadable resources for use with Compose World Create such as on screen overlays for use with Grid and Saw and overlays for use with overlay keyboards etc.
